Cleaning your Vessel

All of our labels are easily removable

Remove every label prior to cleaning your vessel. Hand wash the exterior of your vessel with dish soap.

There are two ways to remove the leftover wax and wick clips in your burned candle: double broiler and oven.

Step 1:

Double Broiler: Take a medium sauce pan, and fill with water until 1.5-2" full of water. Place candle in center of pan. Turn on stove top to low and simmer water for 15 minutes. Using oven mitts on both hands, remove vessel from pot and turn off stove top.

Oven: preheat oven to lowest setting (proofing/warm/175 degrees or less) Place candle on a pan and in the oven for approximately 8 minutes. Turn oven off. Using oven mitts on both hands, remove vessel from oven.

Step 2:

Overturn the vessel over the trash to remove the excess wax and remove the wick clip using a soup spoon by scraping at the base of the wick clip to remove the adhesive. While wearing oven mitts and the vessel is still hot, take paper towels and wipe out the interior of the vessel, taking care to remove all of the excess melted wax.

Step 3:

Sanitize the interior of the vessel using either a surface wipe or hand wash using a sponge and dish soap. Let the vessel air dry and cool off prior to next use.
